Replacement push button canister for the NSK, Safco, Supergrade, and other Universal Supergrade Japanese-style handpieces.
Product Details:
- End cap NOT included.
- Made in the USA.
- Has a 6 month warranty.
Installation Instructions (PDF):
- Remove old Supergrade push button canister using an end cap wrench to unscrew the cap from handpiece head. Push out turbine from the front (bur end).
- Before you install, examine the inside of handpiece head for any foreign debris and remove.
- If there is any debris, make sure to clean and lubricate interior with a cleaner.
- To install new canister, make sure the "lock pin" lines up with the small indentation on the inside at the top of the turbine cavity. If turbine is not properly aligned, then damage may be caused to the handpiece and/or turbine, which prevents proper function.
- Hold handpiece face down and screw end cap. As a result, before use, it should be flush against the head.
- Once end cap is flush, install a bur into turbine. Roll the bur between your fingers to make sure it turns freely. If there is resistance, remove the turbine and repeat previous steps.
- When it is installed properly, attach handpiece to your tubing connector and operate the foot control. More importantly, do NOT do this unless there is a bur securely placed.
- Lubricate handpiece before use on a patient.
