Where the screen has to be seen from

If the patient is meant to see it, a ceiling mount (#MM-120) or a vertical post mount (#MM-130) puts the screen in their line of sight when reclined. If the operator is meant to see it, a pole-mount arm (#08-16, with the 100 mm adapter #08-161) or the flat-panel-and-keyboard pole mount (#MM-131) keeps it at eye height beside the chair. Deciding this before ordering saves a second bracket.

Tablets need a different bracket

A tablet in an operatory needs to be wipeable and hard to walk off with: the professional tablet mount with theft-resistant fastener (#MM-012), the desk-clamp version (#MM-011), or the plate (#MM-010) where an existing arm is already in place. Check the VESA pattern on any monitor before ordering an arm — 100 mm is standard but not universal, and that is what the #08-161 adapter is for.
