Get the size right

Tubing is sized by its inside and outside diameter, and handpiece tubing by its hole count. Practice Tip #16 walks through choosing the right size and style. The most-ordered lines are the gray Silcryn saliva ejector tubing (#11-33) and the 1/2" Silcryn HVE tubing (#11-62).

Fittings made simple

Barb fittings are the easiest to change (Practice Tip #32). Keep a few double-ended barbs, tees and sleeve clamps on hand for splices, along with a tubing sleeve tool (#14-69) for the clamps.
