Magnet or pin

Magnetic clips (#NT-04 range) do not put holes in scrubs and are the usual choice now; pin clips (#NT-03 range) hold better on a heavy lab coat and cost slightly less. Both come in white and black, black and white, blue and white, and gold and black, with a caduceus or a dentistry motif. The tooth-shaped tag (#NT-02) is the one practices use for hygiene and front-of-house.

Order the spare at the same time

Name tags are lost, not worn out. Ordering a second tag for each new starter at the same time costs very little and saves a separate order and a second lead time three months later. Keep the engraving details on file so a replacement is a one-line reorder.
