Repair kit for the standard push collar tip style air and water syringe (#01-89). Kit Includes: 2 buttons (#01-52), 2 button springs, 1 collar assembly, and o-rings.

Sticking Buttons? This is more frequently experienced with the water button than the air button. Mineral deposits from hard water, debris in the water line, or corrosion can all wear the water button and the o-rings on it.

If Button Sticks:

  1. Remove the syringe button.
  2. Lubricate with asilicone-based lubricant.
  3. If lubricating does not work, then you need to replace the button.

NOTE: It is a good idea to regularly lubricate your buttons as part of routine maintenance to keep them moving smoothly. We recommend lubricating them once a month, but you may want to adjust the frequency. Depending on conditions and experience (e.g. particularly hard water) lubricate more frequenctly.
