- Posts are made with titanium that increases mechanical retention in the composite build up material.
- Its thread is similar to a common self-tapering screw.
- Make sure the root canal has been prepared with a reamer of appropriate size and shape corresponding to the post to be used. When using the reamers, start with a reamer number smaller than the diameter number desired. Then proceed from reamer number to reamer number, step by step till desired number reamer can be used.
