The Simple One chairside amalgam separator is a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for your dental practice needs.
Removing dental amalgam is not only environmentally friendly and required, but protects your central vacuum lines. Prevent amalgam from reaching your main system's expensive filters, which can cause more problems.
No messy filters to replace, quick to install, and is a 100% self contained separator. Each amalgam seperation system works for a single operatory. IMPORTANT: Install separator in-line, prior to the line entering the central vacuum system, but after your collection canister. For manufacturer installation instructions, see HERE.
NOTE: The Simple One amalgam separators do NOT include a mailer for the disposal of the old filter. See #AL-23 for in-stock amalgam waste recycling solutions. When a filter is completely clogged with debris, it is time to replace. The timing varies, depending on the frequency of use. On average, you need to replace once a year.
TECH TIP: When installing separator, NEVER install with a 90° bend in hookup tubing, but ALWAYS use non-foaming liquid cleaners on the lines.
