Rodin ™ 3D sculpture ceramic resin consists of a nanohybrid ceramic formulation that pocesses superior mechanical characteristics and esthetic properties. Resin allows technicians to produce realistic permanent restoration on par with those made with traditional materials. Also simplifies the production process and reduces manufacturing costs.

Product Details:

  • For the creation of fixed, long-term crowns, bridges (full and partial denture teeth), inlays, onlays, and veneer restorations using 3D printing technology.
  • Ceramic Nano-hybrid Resin consists of a Dimethacrylate based resin, photo initiator, inhibitor, fumed silica, and pigments. It uses the same resin components found in typical dental restorative composites.
  • FDA 510k cleared as a Class II medical device. Material fulfills all necessary regulatory requirements for use in both permanent and temporary dental restorations.
  • Its radiopacity provide superior X-ray clarity, while its highest concentration of true ceramic fillers ensures maximal fracture resistance and reduces repair visits.
  • Using 3D resin material also reduces patient dental visits.

Technical Data:

  • Density: 1.55 - 1.65 g/cm3
  • Viscosity: 1100 - 1500 cP
  • Flexural Strength: 160 - 182 MPa
  • Flexural Modulus: 6500 MPa
  • Fracture Toughness 1.4 ± 0.12 MPa m1/2
  • Wear Rate (wt): 1.4 mg/million cycles
  • Wear Rate (ht): 0.11 mm/million cycles
  • Hardness: ≥ 95 Shore D
  • Water Solubility: < 1 ug/mm3
  • Water Sorption: < 14.5 ug/mm3
  • Opacity: 62% @ 1mm thick
  • Radiopacity: 200
  • Layer Thickness: 50 um
  • Wavelength: 385/405 nanometer
