Product Features:
- Composite material grinds and powders, producing crisp and accurate margins without softening or distorting.
- When trimming with a slow-speed acrylic bur, fine grit diamond bur, or finishing/polishing disc bur it will provide greater results.
- Self-cures or light-cured. Fast light curing suited for use with a clear vinyl polysiloxane template.
- Tuff-Temp ™ Plus has high flexural strength without brittleness and is approximately 50% to 100% tougher than bis-acrylics.
- Tuff-Temp ™ Plus’s rubberized-urethane chemistry has a higher Tg and not affected by the heat of grinding and finishing, resulting in perfect margins and a better fit.
What is Tg and Why is it Important?
Because a synthetic rubber molecule has been inserted into the diurethane dimethacrylate, a tougher, more impact resistant material has an increased dimensional stability. The provisional restoration fits tightly, stays on better and is more fracture resistant.
