The 3mm periosteal elevator is a surgical instrument from PDT and is used for detaching and elevating the periosteum from the bone or loosening gingival tissues.
PDT instruments have a cryogenically treated stainless steel tip that will hold its edge up to 7 times longer than competitors. Their resin handles will not chip, crack, or discolor, and is ultra light and comfortable, reducing the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome. They are 40% lighter than most instruments. The knurled handle is for maximum control and grip.
They are sterilizable by all methods (autoclavable).
