PacDent iVac Irrigation System Intro Kit

The PacDent iVac ™ irrigation system intro kit helps during root canal treatments and connects to a piezo ultrasonic handpiece. The iVac™ uses apical negative pressure with concomitant irrigation, which avoids the risk of extrusion of the irrigant while allowing the irrigating fluid to clean and disinfect the entire root canal to the working length

System uses three concepts established by the endodontic research and science for root canal irrigation and disinfection.

1. Ultrasonic Vibration: Acts as a chemical catalyst of the irrigating solutions in conjuction with the transient cavitation and microstreaming effects. It creates a chemical-mechanical cleaning action in areas of difficult access in the root canal.
2. Negative Pressure: Irrigation fluid moves from the pulp chamber to the apical limit without extruding beyond the foramen.
3. Concomitant Irrigation: A principle whereby the volume of irrigating liquid renews continuously. Constant fluid replacement provokes ideal chemical activity by repositioning the solution for a new one.

Product Features:

• System unites the three irrigation fundamentals in one device, in order to safely act against liquid extrusion into the periapical tissue and activating canal fluid.
• Its ultrasonic connector holds the cannula and delivers irrigation solution properly, while also transmitting the piezo vibration from the handpiece.
• The tubes and connections allow the ordinary vacuumoutlet to be coupled, which adds negative pressure to the system.
• Use in cases where irrigation depth control is essential, such as young teeth, apexification, regeneration, and apical foramen resorptions.
• Provides the continuous exchange of ultrasonically activated irrigants into the root canal.
• Simple to instal with an intuitive operation.
• The cannula's external and internal diameters rate significantly reduces the risk of clogging.
