MARK3 EDTA Solution 17% with surface modifiers for the instrumentation of root canals and for smear layer removal. Solution de-calcifies the canal walls, which makes it easier to enlarge and shape the canal with hand files and reamers.

Product Details:

• TO USE FOR ROOT CANAL CLEANING & SHAPING: Apply EDTA at the entrance of the root canal with pellet or pipette. Then file and ream the canal in a conventional manner. Reapply EDTA as necessary until the canal enlarges to the desired size. Rinse the canal thoroughly, so all of the EDTA is removed from the canal.
• TO USE FOR SMEAR LAYER REMOVAL PRIOR TO ENDO POSTS: Prepare canal for post. Then remove smear layer of dentinal debris from canal walls. Use a pipette, rinse canal with EDTA, and immediately evacuate the solution with high suction for 10 seconds. Lastly, rinse the canal with water and remove excess water with air and/or paper points.
