Directa's Luxator ® P-series P2 periotome instrument for cutting the periodontal ligament axially, before the final extraction using a forceps or elevators. Do NOT use the P-series as an elevator. The thin, sharp tips can NOT be used with excessive force. Damage to the tips will occure if not used properly.
P2 Periotome: for mesial and distal use. It can be identified with its light blue marking on the handle.

- Have a grip-friendly and pen-like design for maximum tactility and control.
- On the end, there is a knob for adding axial force with a surgical mallet.
- Titanium-coated and are steam autoclavable.
- Blades are 3 mm wide.
