GC America MI Paste (Pkg. 10)

MI Paste ® by GC America adheres easily to soft tissue, pellicle, plaque, and even hydroxyapatite. Paste reacts similar to the mineral/statherin relation in saliva supplying bio-available calcium, phosphate, and fluoride, required for supersaturation to take place. First of their kind – MI Paste contains naturally derived milk protein and fluoride for safe and effective treatment of white spot lesions and non-cavitated tooth demineralization.

How it Works: MI Paste Plus® contain RECALDENT® (CPP-ACP). Casein Phosphopeptide (CPP) are natural occurring molecules which helps to release calcium and phosphate ions. As well as stabilize Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP), which is also the source of calcium and phosphate. RECALDENT® milk-derived protein helps decrease dentin hypersensitivity.

Product Details:

• Supplies calcium and phosphate needed for patients with poor saliva flow. This situation can be further augmented by elevating the level of fluoride (by using MI Paste Plus®, which has fluoride).
• Use For: desensitizing; for sensitivity before and after professional cleaning; for pregnant women; for children under six; and for sensitivity before and after tooth whitening.
• When fluoride meets RECALDENT®, the peptite preferentially combines with and stabilizes fluoride to create the ideal source for building fluorapatite.
• Using bio-available calcium and phosphate, the full potential of fluoride helps protect and repair teeth.
• Each tube contains 35 mL (40g) of GC America MI Paste.
