The Physics ® Forceps (standard lower universal), standard series, by Directa are extraction instruments for use on all teeth, with the exception of third molars. Due to patient access and the instrument's design, the standard series may not be able to access harder to reach second molars. For better access to this location, the molar series should be used.
Product Features:
- The design of the Physics® Forceps allows you to use them as an elevator, rather than just a forcep.
- Lever Mechanics Design: One side of the handle has a "bumper," which acts as the fulcrum, and is placed deeper in the vestibule. The other side is connected to the "beak," which is positioned on the lingual or palatal root of the tooth, into the gingival sulcus.
- Instrument grasps the crown without elevating.
- Once the forceps are properly positioned, then handles rotate a few degrees with only a wrist movement, in a slow, steady, and controlled manner — no squeezing needed!
-
Made in the USA.
