Alpha-Etch 37

Alpha-Etch 37 ® 37% phosphoric acid etchant material designed for use on both dentin and enamel.

Product Details:

• For etching of enamel and dentin.
• Gel stays where placed and will not flow onto exposed surrounding tissue.
• Rinses away without leaving any residue.

Instructions for Use (link):

1. Remove the cap from the syringe and save. Attach a new provided applicator tip to syringe.
2. Prior to application, dispense a small amount of Alpha-Etch 37 onto a dispensing pad or other mixing surface to verify the flow and that the applicator tip is properly attached prior to use.
3. Prepare the surface to be etched in the usual manner.
4. Isolate and dry the tooth thoroughly with oil-free compressed air.
5. Apply etching material to the prepared enamel for 15 seconds, of if applied to dentin etch for 10 seconds. Lightly agitating the etchant during its application can enhance its action. NOTE: Never leave the etchant on the tooth surface for more than 60 seconds.
6. Rinse thoroughly with water. The dry surface should appear dull and frosty whte. If the surface does not, then repeat step five.
