Couldn't load pickup availability
Wrench chuck style turbine for use with both the fiber optic and the non-fiber optic Midwest Tradition high-speed handpieces. Does include an end cap (#15-83-C).
Made in USA. Turbine has a 6 month warranty.
Instructions for Midwest Tradition Turbine (PDF):
- First, unscrew end cap and remove the turbine from handpiece head with the wrench provided. Push it out the front.
- Inspect handpiece head for foreign material and debris, then remove if present.
- Compare worn turbine to the new turbine to identify any components that may still be present in your handpiece. Use a hand scaler instrument to remove all old turbine components, including any shims, o-rings, washers, or bearing retainers.
- Once all components have been removed, then use a cotton swab and handpiece lubricant to clean the head of handpiece.
- Using air from an air/water syringe, blow out handpiece head to remove any leftover cotton fibers.
- Holding the handpiece face down, insert new turbine fully into the head.
- Screw end cap down until it is flush against the handpiece head. If end cap isn't flush seated, then check the end cap for any missed debris or old turbine components.
- Before you can operate the handpiece, install a bur securely into turbine and make sure it turns freely. Repeat above steps, if necessary.
- Connect handpiece to tubing connector, then operate foot control.
- Lastly, lubricate handpiece with appropriate lubricant.
