Macan Electrosurge MC-4A is a high precision dental electrosurgery unit. It is ideal for dealing with delicate & intricate tissue. When compared to the MC-6A (#EL-03), this unit is not recommended for implant exposure of biopsy, but it lacks the CUT feature.
This unit has only two modes: SURGE & COAG.
- SURGE Mode: This is for incision of an excision with pronounced concurrent hemeostasis, which uses %0 cut & 50% coag blend.
- COAG Mode: This is highly effective in producing hemostasis in gingival mucosal tissues and then sealing off bleeders up to 2mm in diameter without ligation. Indications include soft tissue coagulation after surgical intervention or bleeding (a pulpotomy). This mode is also for sterilization of endo canals, bleaching discolored teeth, & desensitization of cervical tooth margins.
The MC-4A electrosurgery unit uses a "spark-free" technology, which uses RF band pass filtration, so it adds to patient comfort by eliminating spark induced sensations and helps reduce risk of tissue recession. This is necessary for successful impression of crowns prep, crown lengthening, and other aesthetically critical procedures (heat production is significantly reduced). Unit is a class 1 medical, high-frequency surgical, non-ionizing radiation device.
Technical Details of Macan Electrosurge MC-4A:
- Output Voltage: 500V
