Directa's Luxator ® P-series periotome instrument kit for cutting the periodontal ligament axially, before the final extraction using a forceps or elevators. Do NOT use the P-series as an elevator. The thin, sharp tips can NOT be used with excessive force. Damage to the tips will occure if not used properly.
Product Details:
- Have a grip-friendly and pen-like design for maximum tactility and control.
- On the end, there is a knob for adding axial force with a surgical mallet.
- Titanium-coated and are steam autoclavable.
- Blades are 3 mm wide.

Tip Styles:
- P1 Periotome: for apical and general use. Identified with its green marking on the handle.
- P2 Periotome: for mesial and distal use. Identified with its light blue marking on the handle.
- P3 Periotome: has a slightly curved blade for lingual and buccal use. Identified with its dark blue marking on the handle.
- P4 Periotome: dual-edged for extracting or removing fractured parts and roots. Do NOT use with a dental mallet. Identified with its lilac marking on the handle.
