ProphyCare HAp by Directa contains a fluoride and paraben free prophy paste with hydroxyapatite. The hydroxyapatite blocks open dentin tubules on exposed dentin surface, which creates a barrier to help with hypersensitivity. Studies showed that products with hydroxyapatite have better remineralisation properties than those of traditional fluoride products.
Directa's ProphyCare HAp is a one-step prophy paste for effective stain removal at the beginning of treatment. Than the abrasive effect gradually reduces, giving HAp its final polishing properties at the end of the treatment.
