Central Vacuum Sink Drain Kit

Drain kit allows the central vacuum unit to be attached to a sink for drainage. Save on plumbing costs by tying the sink into the vacuum system.

Product Details:

• Fits on standard 1-1/2" or 1-1/4" sink drain pipe.
• Requires an area of: 8-1/2" H X 5" W X 4" W.
• Fully automatic.
• Replacement diaphragm (#30-710)

Installation Instructions (PDF):

1. Connect the white suction adaptor a minimum of 7" below the bottom of the work-station bowl.
2. Mount the suction valve on the rear cabinet wall, but make sure it is below the bottom of the suction adaptor. If the rear wall does not work, mount the valve elsewhere or allow to hang free.
3. Then attach a 1/2" vacuum line to the valves outlet port. If using 3/4" tubing, use a sleeve.
4. The suction adaptor contains a screen, which should be periodically checked by unscrewing the sleeve at the top of the threaded fitting.

While some plumbing codes may appear to restrict the attachment of this style of drain to plumbing lines, it is intended for installation within a dental cabinet workstation and should not be considered a plumbing fixture. Basically, the function of the vacuum sink drain does not differ than a vacuum cuspidor bowl or an oral flush cup. However, that water suck-back code (air gap) always applies. Check your local written plumbing code for further information.
