Universal Push Button Canister

Universal push button canister for the these handpiece: #15-32 and #15-33. Also compatible with NSK (with the exception of the Alpha-Lite), Schein Master, Darby, Patterson, Dental Aire, Medidenta, True Speed, and other handpieces that use a standard Japanese style canister.

End cap is NOT included.

Install Instructions for Universal Push Button Canister (PDF):

1. Before replacing turbine, check handpiece for any dents. If there are any dents, contact American Dental Accessories for a handpiece repair.
2. First use an end cap wrench to unscrew cap from handpiece, then remove worn turbine out the front (bur end).
3. Inspect head of handpiece for any foreign debris or turbine components and remove if present.
4. Thouroughly clean and lubricate interor of handpiece with lubricant cleaner.
5. Then replace with new turbine. Align the "lock pin" or small dimple on the top of the canister with a small indentation on the inside of turbine cavity. If canister is not properly aligned, then damage may be caused to the handpiece.
6. Holding handpiece face down, screw end cap back on and make sure it is flush against the handpiece.
7. Before operating, install a bur securely into the turbine. If there is any resistance, then remove turbine and reinstall.
8. Lastly, install handpece onto your tubing connector and operate foot control to test function. Lubricate handpiece appropriately.
