Replacement turbine for the Kavo 6000 push button high-speed handpieces.

Product Details:

  • End cap NOT included.
  • Made in the USA.
  • Turbine has a 6 month warranty.

Installation Instructions (PDF):

  1. Using specialized wrench provided with your handpiece, unscrew cap from handpiece head and remove worn turbine by pushing out from the front.
  2. If debris remains inside the head, then remove if present. Compare worn turbine to new turbine to confirm and identify components remaining.
  3. Use a scaler or explorer instrument to remove all old turbine components including any shims, o-rings, washers or bearing retainers.
  4. Once all old turbine components have been removed, use a cotton swab and handpiece lubricant to clean handpiece head. Using air from the air/water syringe, blow out handpiece head to remove any cotton fibers.
  5. Holding handpiece face down, insert turbine fully into handpiece head.
  6. The turbine bearings each have a small lip which will rest against the o-rings. Using the appropriate tool, screw end cap down until flush against handpiece head.
