Wet/dry foot control with 4-hole tubing is for use with A-dec dental equipment.

Provides consistent variable speed operation. Features a water/on off toggle. Accessories must be pre-configured on the delivery unit with an existing line for each accessory.

Foot control has a 5-1/4" diameter activation disk with a non-skid metal base.

Includes: 7' of 4 hole foot control tubing.

Instructions (PDF):

  1. Turn delivery unit off.
  2. Note where each line of your existing wet/dry foot control is connected, then disconnect.
  3. Split the foot control tubing into separate lines, trimming any excess with a sharp knife.
  4. The large “ribbed” tubing connects to the source of air in the junction box. The large “non-ribbed” tubing connects to the unit for drive air. The small tubings connect to the unit, for air coolant and an air signal, in order to activate the water coolant.
  5. Connect the large tubings first. Verify which small tubing relates to which function, by activating with the unit on. Normally, the toggled tubing is on the same side as the toggle, but configurations may vary.
  6. Apply liquid soap to foot control tubings. Then you can easily slip sleeve clamps over tubings (approx. 3/8” from end) with the internal bevel facing the barb.
  7. Slip the tubing over the barb and lock tubing by sliding sleeve clamp over tubing portion on the barb with pliers or sleeve tool.
  8. Lastly, turn your delivery system on to test for leaks and proper function.

NOTE: When replacing your A-dec style wet/dry foot control, take care not to break barbs when installing tubings and clamps. Inserting tubing ends in hot water will further aid this process. If the foot control “hisses” before activation, the large tubings are hooked up in reverse.
